The minutes from the April meeting and
the special meeting held May 4 were read and approved. There wasn’t a Treasurer’s report as
Treasurer Rich Terrill is ill. Lynne
reported that no money was spent in April.

Lynne was to send a “Thinking of You”

SHOW BUSINESS:
Court has received goody bag items and
a few door prizes from Stoner’s. Other
companies should be sending goody bag and door prize items soon.
Court will send an email to members
when he has received all goody bag items so the “annual stuffing” party can be
held to get the goody bags ready for the show.
Lynne called a new bakery in town, A
Sweet Success, about cookie prices for the show. They provided a dozen cookies for members to
sample. Lynne also called Turtles Bakery
for cookie prices. Both bakeries are
higher in price than what CSCC paid previously.
Lynne will send a thank you to A Sweet Success for the cookies.
Lynne reported that Rich had ordered
the hot dogs and cookies for the Veteran’s Parade from Sysco through Head
Country. Chips and buns were ordered
from the Bread Store. Lynne is to email
Rich to see if he will order the hot dogs, cookies, buns and chips from the
same places for Draggin’ Grand.
Lynne ordered 41 club t-shirts on May
10 from Speedy’s at Ponca Print. The exact
price is still not known but should be around $10.
Bob Haughn will make the judging sheet
copies with “Ready to be Judged” on the back.
It was also brought up that once the judging sheet is taken away from
the car; it was hard to go back to the cars because the car numbers were
gone. Car Identification sheets, which
we receive from Corvette Central, Pro Team and Summitt, need to be included
with all registrations so that the car number will still be on the car after
judging.
Bob Haughn will let CSCC use his CD’s
for the music.
Lynne read an email from Homer that he
had ordered the large event dumpster, four 55 gallon trash barrels and two or
three picnic tables.
Lynne has tried to contact The Ponca
City News to get articles about the show in the newspaper. She heard back from the Midweek Editor for the
Wednesday, June 2 Midweek but hasn’t heard back concerning the May 30 and June
4 newspapers.
Members decided to wait and see how
many door prizes are received before purchasing gas cards. Bob Haughn said it was better to have larger
amounts and fewer cards. He suggested
purchasing 4 gas cards at $50 each instead of 10 cards at $20 each.
100 Dash Plaques have been
ordered. It was decided that members
will only get a dash plaque if there are plaques leftover.
Lynne is to email Rich to have him
check with Kirk’s Concessions to make sure everything is confirmed with our
concessionaire.
