A car show
meeting was held on
Members
decided on the following:
Club Participation Awards – if have enough participation to have
3 awards, pay $150 to the club with the most participating cars; $100 to the
club with the second most participating cars and $50 to the club with the third most
participating cars.
Long Distance Award – Homer offered to fill the gas tank
for the car that drives the farthest to the show. We will see if we can get a $50 gas card that
can be used at any ConocoPhillips station.
If not, it will be a $50 cash award.
Judging Sheets – Bob showed members a copy of the
judging sheet that he redesigned.
Stuffing Party – We will stuff goodie bags on Thursday,
June 2 at
Draggin’ Grand Food - Last year we spent $343.00 on 80
hotdogs, chips & cookies which was more food than we needed. After a discussion, it was decided to have
shredded barbecue beef sandwiches, potato salad and baked beans from Head
Country. This will also include the
buns, pickles and onions.
Last year we
had 5 cases of pop and 3 cases of water for Draggin’ Grand. Rich will purchase the pop, water and ice and
will ice down the beverages. Lois will
purchase paper plates, napkins and eating utensils. Lynne is to purchase 8 to 10 dozen cookies.
We need ice
chests to ice the pop & water in.
Please bring ice chests to Rich on Thursday, June 2.
Homer will
provide 2 tables for Draggin’ Grand.
Breakfast - Our food vendor for the show, Kirk’s
Concessions, will have breakfast available for purchase at
Our Charity - Golden Villa Adult DayCare, Hospice
and Salvation Army were nominated. After
a vote, Golden Villa will be our charity this year.
